For all the time I spend complaining about the frigid weather (sorry!), I hope I take just as much space reveling in races, events and beautiful sunshine-filled training days come summer. There's a new event on the horizon for Chicago-land triathletes: The TREK Women's Triathlon Series launches in Pleasant Prarie, Wisconsin on Sunday, July 12.
Sign-up opened today for this Sprint Tri. I've never done this distance...only Olympic and super-mini. I'm curious how the it compares and am thinking this might be a good place to find out. Talk about cold-weather inspiration!
